The Built Environment
Marketing Round-up newsletter.
Marketing and BD advice for architects and engineers
What’s it all about
You've probably got fifteen newsletters sat unread clogging up your inbox right now and probably don’t want another one to add to the chaos.
But this newsletter is different because it’s written by me, based on what's actually happening in my client work, my own campaigns, and conversations so it’s timely and relevant to what’s happening to architects and engineers.
I've been working in marketing and BD for the built environment for over 25 years so I've made most of the mistakes so you don't have to. I run my own podcast, train leadership teams who got promoted and were suddenly expected to know how to do BD, and I'm still figuring bits of it out myself, which I'll tell you honestly when it happens.
If you're the person in your firm who ends up doing the bids, the LinkedIn, the client follow ups, with zero real marketing and BD training and a lot of figuring things out, this newsletter is written for you.
What you'll actually get
A regular fortnightly email that takes about four minutes to read. It’s got real numbers from my own campaigns, including the ones that didn't work. Whatever I'm learning from client, industry and podcast conversations.
News worth knowing about from the built environment and more general marketing world. And the odd nudge to listen to the podcast if I think an episode's must listen (but to be fair I think they all are).
If I've got nothing worth saying, or if I lose my creative writing mojo, I just don't send it.
