Strategic built environment marketing driving real results.
Marketing strategy, content creation, speaking and training services for engineers and architects.
What’s your challenge?
Where to start?
Unlike engineering, marketing isn’t an exact science so there’s so many things you could do. We’ll work together to choose the most impactful things that’ll work for you.
Business outcomes.
Your marketing objectives aren’t supporting your business ones. I help clients connect marketing to your desired business results & objectives, rather than superfluous likes.
No ideas.
It’s all too easy to churn out the same thing and not have time to keep up with new innovations. I work with many firms to give them a fresh injection of marketing ideas.
Marketing strategy
and planning.
Strategy and planning are easily overlooked with businesses rushing to the tactics of doing. I’ll work with you on your strategy & planning to articulate and bring your vision to life and plot the steps to get you there.
What I do.
Content creation
and campaigns.
I'll work with you to Identify the themes, topics and messages that you want to convey to your target audience. Then create compelling content and campaigns that resonates with them and meets your goals.
Speaking, training and mentoring.
If you’re after a dynamic speaker, trainer or mentor who is well-versed in the built environment then I’m the person for you. I’ll work with you to create a brief and deliver a high-quality experience that inspires your audience.
A creatively technical marketer.
I’m Ayo Abbas, an award-winning built environment marketing consultant with over 23 years’ experience working across the construction industry. I’ve worked for major firms including Arup, Mace, McLaren Construction and WSP and small firms like Minimass, Stylib and Cemento developing strategy, content and campaigns.
As a digitally-led marketer, I recognise the power of bringing online and offline marketing approaches together to get strong business results. I am a built environment industry geek so I talk your language and recommend solutions that work in our industry context. I don’t believe marketing is a mythical dark art so using simple everyday language to get things across is something I’m known for.

“Laminar Projects is a fast growing business and we’d identified thought leadership as a way to raise our visibility. We decided to work with Ayo as she really knows the construction industry. She knows the context and how to write engaging content so can add in her commentary to our thoughts.”

“Ayo works well across mediums from digital to print to events and particularly well in the engineering disciplines and STEM where she translates complex language into something that regular mortals, i.e. customers, can understand.”
