Strategic marketing transforming how built environment firms compete.

Over 25 years I've worked with some of the UK's most ambitious architecture, engineering and construction firms. My clients have doubled revenue, entered new markets, and won work on the projects that matter to them. I bring the strategic marketing perspective that turns good firms into ones that are known, sought after, and winning the right work.

I'm Ayo Abbas, founder of Abbas Marketing. Since 2020, I've worked with five of the top ten UK engineering consultancies, helping firms reposition, grow, and compete more deliberately for the work they actually want.

My clients have doubled revenue, entered new markets, and won work on some of the UK's most significant projects. I bring 25 years of built environment experience to every conversation I have which means I understand how these firms operate, how decisions get made, and where marketing tends to go wrong. Most importantly I know how to mesh strategy with the practicalities of getting things done and share that knowledge readily with my clients

Based in South West London, I work with firms across the UK and internationally, in person and remotely.

Speaking at WICE Awards Summit April 23rd.

Ayo Abbas will be speaking at the WICE Awards Summit on April 23rd. i’ll be on stage having a fireside chat with Cristina Lanz Azcarate where we’ll be talking about why women in the built environment need to be part of the conversation shaping digital transformation, we can’t just sit back and let it happen to us.

My session, "Claiming the Strategic Seat at the Digital Table," looks honestly at where the industry is right now, what gets lost when the people with the most sector experience sit on the sidelines of these decisions, and what it actually looks like to step in and influence how these tools get designed, implemented and used. It'll of course be a practical conversation for women who are ready to lead.
